A couple of years ago, a member from the Freaks (Studbucket) had an idea to run a set of ranked football leagues. Tier 1 being the championship league, tier 2 being the next best and so on. Each year, the two best from each league moves into the next better league, and the two worst move down.

Anyway, there are currently several openings in the Fourth Tier (currently the bottom of the barrel). If this league format sounds interesting to you, post a reply, or PM, and I can get an invite out to you. Here are the rules:

Does it mean 6 or 4?

Thanks, I'll fix the quote. Passing TDs are worth 6, the 4 is the yahoo default.

Right now the Draft is Sunday at 3 CST which is flexible.

I have a draft Saturday at 2, so I am good for Sunday or even Monday. I would like to be in if it's one of those two days, or later on Saturday. After the weekend, I'm not available due to a week long work thing.

i can do monday also-- not sure if that fits chaze's definition of "after the holiday weekend," or if he's still going to be stuffing brats and potato salad in his face on monday. . . .

i have another draft on tuesday, and the season starts thursday, so we should probably do it sunday or monday if we can. . .

also, wigger. . . . although i know you have the rules listed up thur in the the first post and all, it's probably worth pointing out for those that only skim them, that this is a PPR (that's point per reception) league. . . it's a fairly common permutation of standard FF, but it is a significant deviation from the rules most of the other leagues listed on this forum will play by. . .

it's actually the only common variant of FF i've never played (unless you consider touchdown leagues "common," but i wouldn't waste my time with one). . . i'm looking forward to playing this one, i've wanted to do a PPR for a few years now. . .

I got slaughtered by twice my scoring output. The combined play of Big Ben, VJAX, Maclin, Knox and Owen Daniels and Jacoby Ford was 30.3 points. Criminy, Roethlesberger should have scored that by himself in his sleep. WTF!

Clearly. I was in 5 last year, and said this year, never again. Planned to drop down to 2-3 tops. Then, got asked to join several, a couple looked interesting, returned to three. Before I knew it, 7 leagues.

Just spent the last hour trying to set my lineups, pickup FA's for injuries, etc.
