Head coach John Fox is a longtime proponent of a power running game. That means he also is a longtime proponent of the traditional lead blocker. That's a dramatic change from the past two years for the Broncos, who figure to line up with two backs in the backfield a fullback in front of a running back more than they did when Josh McDaniels was their head coach.

I love the fact that putting an emphasis having a fullback on the field. I think can only help Moreno to be a better running back.

I think Larsen will be solid.

We have a hidden fullback on the roster according to some sources...that's right, we have Tebowman, Super Fullback/H-Back/Tight End/Trick Quarterback!

(Sorry I had too, I really, really did!)

Larsen is alright. I miss having a guy like Griffith or Hillis..... guys that could not only plow you, but were excellent in receiving the ball out of the backfield. Larsen is probably ok at blocking, though.

Larsen is serviceable, but that's about it. To have an elite running game, you need elite blocking. The Broncos don't have that right now.

Which was why i was pissed when Bmore got Leach. :tsk:

Leach or Vickers. Either one would have raised our run game to another level. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Broncos go after a FB on the waiver wire.

I really like Larsen. He is a STs stud On KO team. His straight up lead blocking through the inside gaps is underrated. Where he struggles and needs to improve is his blocking in space. When he's asked to motion or shift and come accross the formation and block he gets olayed a lot.

Last week he got used on the reverse to Royal, but that dumbshit play shouldn't be in the playbook anyway, did McD call that one.

Maybe but we do have that kid Sylvester that we picked up by way of UDFA.

nobody tell bosco. . . .:D

pisses me off that we could have gone after a real fullback, and instead we'll settle for larsen's gimp ass. . .

Sylvester will be a better fullback than Larsen. I never got the idea that somehow backer to fb was a natural transition.

Maybe Tebow should play fullback. At least then we'd have a use for him.

I could see Orton purposely toss the ball at Tim's feet... such a goof thing he'd do...LOL
