"Business as usual," Orton said. "(I'm) playing pretty well right now, and the offense is getting close to where we need to be."

We'll see how this all works out once teams are actually game planning for our offense.

I'm on board with Kyle if he can A) Wins game and B) Mentor Tebow.

That's all I'm asking. GO BRONCOS.

Orton has already stated he wont mentor Tebow.

Well, I'm more worried about wins than I am him "mentoring" Tebow. Tebow is a long ways off from being a PASSER, thats not something that can be mentored by Orton.

Orton and the offense will be fine. Its the defense that has been the problem for a long time, and we are still young in some places, and too old in others. But, I have a feeling we win more games than expected.

I don't know how badly he wants to win but I do know that if he plays well and we still lose he wont be a starter for long irregardless any other contributing factors.

The way Orton talks in the media makes me miss Jake the Snake. Has there ever been a Broncos QB that is harder to cheer for?

BTW maybe Larson should be the mentor for Tebow and his position change.

F' him...we didn't ask for him, we never wanted him. He should understand this better then most, after all no one else wants him all that much either, well besides his little fan club!

Tebow hasn't hesitated to ask the seven-year veteran for help when he needs it.

"If it is advice about a read that he's gone through more than I have or a certain drop for a play, you know, 'Move your feet here,' -- different things like that, sometimes I'll ask him, and he'll share that with me," Tebow said.

Orton will answer any question Tebow has but he did go on record saying he wouldnt mentor Tebow or at least go out of his way to do so.

Same way Favre treated Aaron Rodgers, difference being that Brett Favre is a first ballot Hall of Famers and Kyle Orton is a year or 2 away from being a career backup.

During practice Monday, Orton spent a good deal of time tutoring Tebow on what looked to be mechanics and motion.

Exactly.

Favre said it wasnt his responsibility to mentor Rodgers but had no problem with answering any questions he may ask. Im guessing Orton feels the same way.

Like i said, Orton made a statement he wouldnt go out of his way but if Tebow asked im sure he would take the time.

What is there confused about? Orton said he had no desire to mentor Tebow, that a fact.

Just recently, RIGHT after Fox announced him as the starter and all the bad press on Tebow came out, it was breaking news that Orton was seen working with Tebow on mechanics.

I am still trying to find an article which states that - not saying there wasn't one. Confused about is was not directed at you - if Orton did state that in the past, does not appear that is the way it is now. That is what I wanted to show.

It was in video clip that they ran in the DP. It would have been right round the time that Denver was trying trade Orton or shortly there after.

There was an article where Kyle Orton said something to the effect that his job is to be a starting QB, not a mentor, or something like that.

That's the right attitude and I agree with Orton.

So that makes it ok to be a "me" player?

Most players in the league appear to be MUCH more generous about working with young players at the same position. I have no problem with him wanting to be the starter, and having confidence in himself that he can win the job. I have a problem with him not helping a teammate to also succeed.

Haven't you received the mass memo from the Ortonites? It's alright that 'Horton' is that way, but goddamn anyone else who is...it's that hypocrisy we constantly see. Such as we can't use statistics to show him in an ill light, but they can use his fluffed up statistics to show him in a favorable one.

(P.S. Pardon my French)

I understand that. But my guess is going by Tebow's comments is it was Tebow who APPROACHED Orton about that. Not vice versa. There's a difference between asking for help and having someone go out of their way to help one.

I'm stoked about the offensive line this year. Regardless of who plays the QB. The line looks much better with more growing room to boot. Hopefully the games will be more exciting this year when the offense is on the field, noting the red zone problems of last year, hoping to see some really good plays this year. I must admit I am partial to the offense vs defense so I will have to pay more attention to the defense.....

It will always come back around, might not be this week or this year but If this is the case, then it Will show on its own wait and see.
