The NFL Lockout had an adverse effect on me. I've watched both this weeks thursday and friday preseason games for some reason...

And now I get to watch one with a team I actually care about! Hope to see some good things from Miller and Dumervil, and of course will be watching the QBs. Go Broncos!

Buffalo's not a very strong team then again the BRONCOS Dline isn't either. Regardless, I expect Miller and Dumervil to have a great game anything else will be disappointing.

Dareus will do his job demanding double teams adding, it's the "Lights Out" dance by Merriman that's gonna be annoying. Hopefully the Oline does their job!

It'll be interesting to watch this game then later in the year when they play each other to see who improved.

Haven't seen anything on the web or Twitter. I wouldn't be surprised if his 'unbelievable news' was something like "reports are that Tebow might not win the backup role" or a rehash of some of the stuff we've been hearing for weeks about what Elway/Fox might think about Tebow.

I liked that guy last year and he's even better now. Last season when he got in he was constantly around the ball but he was there just a tad late. He looked like once he got the NFL game figured out mentally he could really shine. I told people then that he could end up being a starting safety for us, and I really believe that now.

Even on the run on first down where he didn't score he broke out of what would have been a tackle for a 3-4 yard loss to get back to the line.

Yea, I'm real excited about the run game. I think with the addition of Franklin, Beadles and Walton being in their second year, and addition of McGahee, that the run game will hopefully be very solid.

A lot of guys have serious medical problems from those hits before rules were put into place. It's for the players safety and yes it sucks for fans but i understand it. You can say they choose to play the game anyway, but a lot of hard hits were simply for entertainment purposes only and had no bearing on the outcomes of the games themselves...

You can still have an unstoppable defense without putting guys on stretchers or in the hospital...

It is what it is man. At this point with as good as Orton looked tonight it wouldn't matter anyway. Will Orton be anywhere near that good in the regular season? I have my doubts, but at thiz point nobody is going to beat him out this preseason. If we start out 2-6 or 1-7 there will be no doubt we'll see someone else playing with the first team. Until then we can just hope that I and so many other Bronco fans are wrong about Orton.

If he can play consistently well and not crumble under pressure I'll be the first to admit I was wrong. I'm not too proud to admit a mistake.

Yea, I thought it was a joke that he didn't give Tebow at least a couple series with the first team O-line last week. It's VERY common for a starting O-line to play longer than the skill guys, and considering our huge drop off to the 2nd team O-line, it isn't a very fair evalution of the QB.

I missed whether Rahim Moore led with helmet or shoulder (it was pretty fast and not the best angle on my screen), so I have no big complaints with the call (esp. since the err on the side of caution in pre-season), but he came in with the hit right around the same time the ball was just going off the WRs hand-- Moore was also coming in full speed and the collision was absolutely unavoidable. It was also not an obviously bad thrown pass, so the safety had every right to assume it was catchable, or would be caught had he not made the hit. So I like Rahim Moore in the spot he was in and the hit he made. I didn't see any big evidence of "launching himself" but hopefully now he will be more careful to make sure the helmet isn't the first thing in there.

A lot of guys have serious medical problems from those hits before rules were put into place. It's for the players safety and yes it sucks for fans but i understand it. You can say they choose to play the game anyway, but a lot of hard hits were simply for entertainment purposes only and had no bearing on the outcomes of the games themselves...

You can still have an unstoppable defense without putting guys on stretchers or in the hospital...

It is what it is man. At this point with as good as Orton looked tonight it wouldn't matter anyway. Will Orton be anywhere near that good in the regular season? I have my doubts, but at thiz point nobody is going to beat him out this preseason. If we start out 2-6 or 1-7 there will be no doubt we'll see someone else playing with the first team. Until then we can just hope that I and so many other Bronco fans are wrong about Orton.

If he can play consistently well and not crumble under pressure I'll be the first to admit I was wrong. I'm not too proud to admit a mistake.

Thing is, I haven't seen Orton play THAT much better than in recent years...

He just lulls other teams to sleep with crossing patterns and screen passes.

If you watch carefully from the camera angle it looks like his head dips before the hit which looks like he knows he'll hit but saved the head-on-head. But as you said we'll just have to agree to disagree.
