My pick is grandma's boy this movie cracks me up.

I once thought that Rockstar with mark wahlberg was funny but then I watched it while I wasn't completely baked and it wasn't funny at all. :tsk:

Rush hour. All of them. I laugh as hard the 20th time as i did the 1st. Jackie Chan
and Chris Tucker are great together.

Alot of Martin Lawrence movies. "Life" with him and Eddie Murphy was pretty funny. Big Momma's House.

For me, the funniest has to be Blazing Saddles with honourable mentions to Airplane!, and the football game at the end of the original M*A*S*H

How could I forget Blazing Saddles? Naked Gun was good, too.

If you go by how much I laughed the first time I saw the movie I would say Dumb and dumber, Holy grail and The Dictator.
Top Secret also made me lie on the floor laughing when I first saw it.

I think both Beverly hills cop, Forrest Gump and Dr Strangelove are excellent movies, but what make them great are the action/drama and not the pure comedy. The combination so to say.

When Home Alone came out we took our older two to see it. I guess I like 'slap stick' comedy more than I thought cause I laughed until I cried when paint cans (http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mTty5s8vCZc) came flying! (could be the 'mean' side I didn't know I had:D)

Lots of great movies listed - one of my favorites is A Fish Called Wanda.

The Blues Brothers

How many of the other movies are readily known 30 years after they came out. Spawned a syndicated radio show, a restaurant chain, and several albums. As well as starting the whole retro movement and all those classic rock radio stations.

Just have to say it again, if you haven't seen The Brothers Solomon you need to do so. After I posted this I decided to watch the movie again because I remembered it being hilarious, and yes my memory was correct. I laughed the whole way through.

I love Strange Brew, but its not as funny as the opening scene from Slap Shot where the goalie is demonstrating the penalties on the guy that's interviewing him.
