this thread is to discuss anything Iowa Hawkeye football related. It will be an interesting season for Hawk fans. a few starters returning, but a new qb at the helm. a new running back too, but both have some game experience and I believe could grow well into their featured roles. That's college football for you though. The big 10 is again up for grabs. Go Hawkeyes

Ain't doing shit today. Waiting for information from some vendors. I'll multitask and work on a few things when I'm on the site. If I'm not on the site at all, I'm in the plant or down at our other plant in Gallup. I'm usually pretty organized, so I can juggle several things at once.

should be the Hawks. I believe they beat MN last season or the last time they played. I'm not even sure they played each other last season come to think of it. the last game between them (that I am aware of) the hawks spanked the gophers in MN

or do you know something I don't? Hawks had some disappointing losses last year. they lost to NW which is as bad as losing to MN. I forget the MN game.

They really missed out with CU. CU would have made that conference relevent again.

Iowa's defense had the same problem the Broncos d had against the Packers; too much time on the field. I'm not happy with Ferenz's play calling. we normally own penn state. maybe this means we will beat northwestern this year.

I thought Iowa's secondary sucked for the most part. their lb corps is not bad. Daniels had a good game.

As far as the Stoop brothers, I don't really have an opinion one way or the other. haven't paid much attention to them. a big name in college ball, connections to Iowa and from Sandusky OH. About all I know

Greg Garmon commits to Iowa
Nation's No. 26 recruit picks the Hawkeyes.

Greg Garmon, the nation's No. 26 recruit, has committed to Iowa.

The 6-foot-2, 200 pound Garmon made the announcement at the U.S. Semper Fidelis All-American Game, televised live on CBS Sports Network. He selected Iowa over Miami, Arkansas and a host of other offers.

As a senior, Garmon rushed for 1,050 yards and nine touchdowns. He also hauled in three touchdown catches.

Garmon ranks as the nation's No. 5 tailback, behind Johnathan Gray, Barry Sanders, Keith Marshall and Byron Marshall.
