Heading into Thursday's night first exhibition at Dallas, the number of Shanahan-span veterans has dwindled to one-seventh of the 90 players at Dove Valley — and could decline again when cuts are made Aug. 20 (to 75) and Sept. 3 (53).
Mike Shanahan's legacy is Champ Bailey, Elvis Dumervil, Ryan Clady, Eddie Royal, D.J. Williams, Chris Kuper and Spencer Larsen — all starters on the Broncos' first depth chart released this week — kicker Matt Prater and backups Mario Haggan, Wesley Woodyard, Marcus Thomas, Ryan McBean and Matthew Willis.
