If the Broncos started Orton all 16 games this year? Or if the Broncos got rid of natural grass playing surface?

Well neither has much chance at happening.

Whichever one affects the win column more.

Both seem rather unpleasant if you ask me...

Of course there is more unpleasant things as well, like getting our asses handed to us by San Diego and Oakland, like we did last year.

real football is played outside on grass in the weather. Dome football, inside on plastic grass sucks ass and looks like craP on TV.
Thank God here in Denver we still play outside on reaL grass.

If orton starts all 16 games, then that means we are winning and are in the playoffs. No way will Orton start all 16 games if he sucks and losses pile up. If that happens, the invesco wine and cheese fans might even join in the boooing.

It's a no brainer for me. The worst that starting Orton all 16 games this year is ruin this season, assuming of course that he & the rest of the Broncos never improve over last season. The worst that switching to a artificial surface could do is ruin the careers of our players by causing them far more injuries for as many years as they have it in, especially to their knees. No matter how bad Orton might play, if he plays as bad as many are assuming he's going to play, nothing that he does this season would continue to harm the Broncos for years to come.

Unless we finish 6-8 wins, have no shot at Luck, and still have nothing to show for TT. What do you do then? Draft a 3'rd tier college QB? What about TT? Heck, if we don't play him a lot this year, we might asw well just cut him loose, and give him a shot with a less stuffy orginazation.

Bye the bye, artificial turf might be enough to cause me to start drinking Jaegermeister!
Hah, triple cost cough syrup, haha.

actually Orton showed up slimmer and trimmer
i noticed it was Tebow who was sporting his best "plummer" look.
Orton shaved his neck and looked like he hit the bench press pretty hard during the offseason.
Maybe he was convinced he would be interviewing for a new gig and cleaned up his act.
in what may be the biggest year to convince either the broncos or some other team to give him a fatty contract he will surprise everyone and play his arse off !!!:elefant::salute:

the new turf doesn't bother me. We play on it here in our flag league. The only thing I don't like about it is the little rubber bbs that get in your cleats

Has Orton ever started 16 games? Is this a trick question?
