Not sure what thread to put this in....I couldn't tell if there was a better place for fantasy football talk....if so mods let me know for future posts ;)

So, I drafted Isaac Bruce late in my draft thinking that he would be a solid 10th round pick, being that the Rams and Bulger like to air it out....however, I was curious if I should drop Bruce and pick up a Marty Booker/Bryant Johnson instead???

Isaac was a hell of a receiver and is still listed as a starter on the Rams depth chart, but he is getting long in the tooth!!!!

Also, the Raiders had a VERY good defense last season, but fantasy wise they seem to be below average! All of the defenses I wanted to take were gone (Balt., NE, Denver, SD, etc.). Do you think the Raiders will have a top 5 defense again this season, or should I drop them and pick up a team with a higher pts. per game avg. (Tenn., Minn., AZ., Buff., etc.)???

Opinions would be appreciated :D

Keep Bruce. He is Bulgers go to guy. Many ( not me ) fantasy boards and experts have Bulger as a top 5 fantasy QB. I think that is a steal in the 10th round for a proven WR.

Just my opinion.

Yeah I was pretty happy to me him up that late....just going through the fantasy projections - and I relaize they are just that, "projections" - they have Bruce averaging like 4.5 points a game and they have Booker, Johnson averaging like 7-8 points per game....

I think I will stick with my lineup for now and see what pans out the 1st few weeks!!

Thanks for the advise WTM :)

I agree with watch on that point...

As for the Raiders being top 5 defense this year, that is a stretch to say the least in my opinion however I don't believe they have lost any significant defensive players so they may be worth a look. I honestly can't give you much advice on it though as I have not seen one pre-season game of theirs...

They were pretty good against the pass last year. I would definatly keep them and see what pans out.
