After the Miami debacle...... I said "Never"... he gets cut IMHO at the end of a very poor year.

Orton stays, starts as #1 qb to open season, eventually gets replaced by Tebow when the losses start to mount, and he walks as a free agent at the end of the year (Kyle only has a 1 year contract)

I think this a very real possibility but I also it's just as possible that Tebow wins the job from the beginning.

I had a dream that Orton leads us to the playoffs and signs a 3 year contract to stay in Denver.:elefant:

He won't be and as a result we'll be doomed to another year of boredom at the QB position.

After the Moore signing can I change my vote?

This gets my vote!

The only thing that could be different would be this:

Orton and the Broncos played hardball with one another. The Broncos could return the favor by naming Tebow the starter. Orton has no choice but to be a good guy about it. If he isn't it ruins him in FA at seasons's end.

Personally, that may be the Broncos best bet. Name Tebow the starter and leave it up to Orton to mind his p's and q's as he bides his time. If he doesn't, then it only hurts Orton at that point.

Yep! Now the question is.......who will be the starting QB......Orton or Tebow?!?

Did you really think Miami needed 'ol poopey legs' to run their wildcat formation? Orton was a poor fit there and yes, it's bad news that your starter can't garnish a 3rd round draft pick trade.

Worst case scenario we go 0-16 under Orton, or Tebow. At least if it was under Tebow we would know who to draft. I would release Orton after having extinguished all hopes of trade.

After the first game when Elway and Fox are plowed by the sheer vehement boos with utter disdain for Orton and at them for keeping him. I would give it about two weeks of that and they'll either ship him out or cut him. Bowlen will not want another fan debacle comparative to the one he just went through.

Do you think Tebow might get on the field this season for any Wildcat plays?

Knowing that we kept the same offensive coordinator, the one who showed complete ineptitude at the end of last season....I would say it's a safe bet. We'll probably look much the same as last season just with a lot more running plays in the mix...so a lot of trying to come from behind, and with Horton at the helm...god save us!
