Michael Lombardi on NFL Network just now says DeAngelo Williams is staying with the Panthers.

I didn't want to see the Broncos break the bank for Williams. I think there are some other decent rb options among the free agents and I hope the Broncos spend the big bucks to address the dline.

That sucks, didn't want to over pay for him anyway.

Bring on Marion Barber !! Power runner to team with Marino.

Can't say I am sad about this. Great runner but not what the Broncos need.

Listening to his interviews on the Rome show made me think that he could be a good mentor for any young backs we are planning to use in the long term, wants to block down field, and feels like he has something to prove. And IIRC he looks good in Orange.

That sucks ballsack.

There's really no other back on the market with his skillset. Deangelo didnt even try the market.

Reggie Bush would be a good 2nd option/pass catching RB that could help mix things up, plus we could use him in the return game.

Please keep in mind that with zbs there are bigger holes to run through.......we need a goal line back and a speed back......spend the big money at DT.

Man... talk about suckage...
Brown- hurt 4 of 5 season....
Barber... needs HUGE blockers
Bush... he peaked at USC????

I agree and am no longer excited about us bringing in a RB.

Moreno will be better than those scrubs. Hopefully Lendale White can return for goal line situations.....and then there's this guy named Tebow.

He runs hard. I think was hit by the injury bug last year that hurt him. I wouldn't expect him to carry more than 10-15 times a game. Mostly short yardage type stuff.

He could have been a Bronco 5 years ago but instead we signed the idiot Travis Henry.

when are people going to stop with this "goal line back" crap?

moreno has like 18 TDs in the last two years, and we have tim tebow. . . we already have two really good goal line backs, it's not a concern. . . one of the very few areas on the team that isn't. . . .

speed is by far the primary need in the backfield. . .

Whenever we pulled Orton for Tebow at the goal line, we were fine.

Tebow is 100% in the redzone for tds except for the brandon lloyd int against houston. Someone said we did kick a FG with tebow in that game too inside the redzone, but i didnt see the game so i dont know.

Tebow is big and strong and if he is part of our goaline package on a regular basis he will get hurt, he already has. That is a recipe for seeing Brady Quinn. With Tebow's regular game he is going to see enough hits.
