This sounds like real good news. I like Eddie Royal. Hopefully he is 100% and the hip is in the past.

That seems like such an eternity ago. Still have faith in Royal, he's always been one of my favorite Broncos. Hope he can stay injury free this season and return to form as well.

Watching those highlights makes me sad. Seeing guys like Cutler, Hillis, Scheffler, Stokely, Royal playing together... best offense since the Superbowl years and I miss it.

Unless we have a coach that is pass happy, combined with having several running backs out with injury...dont expect to get much more out of Royal than what he really is. Good ST returner and solid 3rd or 4th receiver.

Blame McD for recent numbers all you want, but the rookie season was a fluke

I disagree.

I do not think that was a fluke at all. Eddie is fast and can run routes terrifically as well as change directions on a dime. When we first drafted him I said he would be a good receiver. I think moving him from the #2 spot to the slot is what has killed him....I also do not think Orton has helped either.

But I am not expecting in foxs system for him to bounce back either unfortunately.

Yeah, Cutler can sling it...and he and Royal had chemistry. You could see Cutler a couple of times directing Royal to an opening in the defense...and then on a frozen rope he drilled it in there.

That offense was sick.....for so may young players.....Royal, Marshall, Scheffler, Hillis, Cutler, Kuper, and Clady. McDaniels was a idiot!

Orton just doesn't have chemistry (at all) with Royal. His guy is Lloyd, who he played with in Chicago before coming to Denver. I love Lloyd, but he's a straight line guy....which Orton can handle. Orton's not so good with the shifty, stop and go guys (It's obvious).
