The Denver Broncos just saved their 2008 season.
It is as simple as that. This was that big of a victory for the battered Broncos.
This team looked dead in the water as it trailed 23-10 early in the third quarter. Injuries were mounting and their fourth straight defeat seemed imminent.
However, then Jay Cutler took over. Looking very much like the Cutler of the early season and not like the mistake prone decision-maker of the past month, Cutler took the team on his back and won this game. This team looked incapable of a comeback earlier Thursday night, but Denver ended up winning after making two comebacks.
Denver is certainly not in great shape. Five defensive starters are out with injuries and the running game is in shambles. That said, the Broncos are now 5-4 and they increased their lead in the AFC West. If Denver ends up winning the division, this victory over Cleveland will be remembered as the turning point.

Great job by Jay and the rest of the team. They played awesome in the 2nd half, even the D stepped up a bit. The D kept us in it, and the O won it. Great job by Royal, Marshall made up for a couple drops, and Graham broke out tonight. This could be the turning point in our season.
