With practices over, players try to stay ready for camp

APNormally, Larry Fitzgerald’s Minnesota camp of motivated football players has a set end date. This year, it will go in indefinitely.

“Until they call us back, I’ll be here. I’ll be here in Minnesota,” Fitzgerald told Judd Zulgad of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune.

More than 30 NFL players were there last week working out. They are part of a group of NFL players in limbo, waiting for the call to find out when training camp will start.

In Denver, a pair of players groups have merged under the direction of a local sports performance trainer. Mike Klis of the Denver Post writes that 45-50 players including some Broncos like Tim Tebow were there early this week. Roughly half a dozen Broncos were doing some light football work a a local high school.
