So some might say, this is the best night to go out on the town. The best night to go over the limit, have a great time, and do whatever the city you live in has to offer. I on the other hand think this is the best night to stay in!

Why you might say.... its Saturday BBL, this is what the weekend is all about... but let me give you a laundry list of reasons why I think otherwise....

#1 - Friday is by far the greatest night of the week to hit the town. Not only are you saying goodbye to a long work week, but you got the whole weekend to look forward to (and recover form friday). People are generally crazier, funner, and happier to be at the start of the weekend then on Saturday when your in the midst of it. I love Friday night fun, or what I like to call with my buddies and cousins, Friday Fest!

#2 - Football is on Sunday. Here in Cali (where I live now) we don't have the luxery of 11am games. Things kick off at 10 am here, which means waking up earlier, perparing for the games earlier, and generally having to not deal with leaving significant others houses, recovering from to much alcohol intake, or just dealing with being out late late late....

#3 - Saturday day is for ze ladies. Thats the best time to take a girl out, grab some food, and unfortunately for most guys watch them shop while we look at the TV. There's several reasons for that. I like colelge football only to an extent so I don't gameplan around that. TV usually sucks during mid-day Saturday, and the days are so nice it's great to get out of the house and do fun things with a beautiful woman in tow.

#4 - The best Boxing is on Saturday night.... enoug hsaid. Even UFC is on saturday night.

So what day is your "fest" day?

For me its usually Wednesday or Thursday. ( I work Fri - Monday)

Tuesday is my relax, catch up on things day. Wednesday is my saturday, and thursday my sunday.

If I do have some fun its usually one of those nights. I always cry on my way into work on Friday afternoon while the rest of the world is getting off for their weekend all together.

So what day is your "fest" day?

when i was in "party mode" any ol' night would do. . . . :shots:

depended largely on what was going on, specifically music-wise. . .

the past two years i've just been chillin, though. . . not much of anything going on where i live right now, and i needed a break anyways. . . about once a month i might go out of town for a weekend, go party with some of my old college friends who are spread all over-- but now it's football season, so those kinda trips have to be limited to friday nights only. . .

Just fro clarification, when I say fest day, it doesn;t so much mean partying, but having a good time with friends out an baout. About half of the nights when I go out I am DD if we are partying, or it's hanging out at a friends house, a girls house, or just laying back and having good fun. The other half is out at on the town. I also don't drink for its prolonged effects on me, I'm past that now. I drink mroe for social fun. It's true, sometimes your having so much fun in those social enviornments you drink a little more then you should, but I never ever drink anymore with the intent to party and get drunk.

Just to make things clearer. I stopped being a big partier after I left the military (When drinking More than your share is as important as being an expert shooter in the infantry :D ) and do a more relaxed version of it now. Thoug hadmittadly, I don't think I've ever been in a more "serious" partying enviornment then the military, even in college....

i love going out on Fridays, but other nights work, too. saturday nights are for laying on the couch, watching movies and then MadTV and SNL. Popcorn and late nights...why i'm up at 2am! LOL
