Looks like we have another player attacked by GF, Marshall is not the only one attacked by significant other, now a bronco, Jason Hunter. Is this becoming a thing of the summer?

Wait didnt this happen a long time ago. Like right about the same time Marshall got stabbed...? I know I read about this a while back.

I was thinking this was some funny story how a hunter was attacked by his GF in the hospital after he got mauled by a baby deer or something.

Both are pretty stupid.

My guess is they were talking on cell phones in different parts of the building they were in. But come on, that part of it is at least a little funny.

He was struck by a knife thrown by his girlfriend while having an argument with her on a CELL PHONE.

It says OVER cell phones.

To me that reads as "Their argument was related to cell phones"

Denver Broncos defensive player Jason Hunter was struck in the left upper chest by a kitchen knife hurled at him by his girlfriend during an argument over cell phones, according to a police report obtained by The Associated Press.
Hunter told police the woman waved the knife and told him to stay back before throwing it "on accident" during the morning of April 27, according to the six-page report obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request.
She then took her boyfriend to receive medical treatment and later was arrested "after being pointed out by hospital security," the report said.
The officers who wrote the report said the girlfriend was angry about having found a bag of cell phones, which Hunter claimed "were not his and belonged to his boy."

“The case was thoroughly reviewed to see if there was sufficient evidence that would allow us to charge in this matter,” Maria Miller, spokeswoman for the Wayne County, Michigan prosecutor’s office, told the AP. “And after the review, it was determined that we had insufficient evidence to go forward with a case that we could prove beyond a reasonable doubt.”

On April 27, the woman threw a kitchen knife at Hunter during an argument, striking him in the chest. He required several stitches. She claimed that she accidentally threw the knife after waving it at Hunter. The couple had been arguing about a bag of cell phones that Hunter claimed belonged to a friend.

Good thing he likely won't make the roster, he's clearly one slip away from a year long suspension. It's clear from that report, that he's a woman beater and the girlfriend was acting in self defense.

Not only could he not set the edge, but he was too slow to rush the passer consistently and was completely worthless in pursuit. In short, Jarvis Moss would have been equally effective.
