As I was driving home today and singing along with radio, I began thinking about something a mentor of mine once told me. He said to me that every person has abilities that are never realized for whatever reasons. So it got me to thinking about asking the good citizens of BF what are your untapped talent or talents? I'll start off, I have been told for years that I have a very good singing voice and if it were possible I wouldn't mind developing it further than I have.

By the way I have more but I'll wait until later to mention them.

i have been told that i am very clever/smart in like a sneaky way.

an example i always get is tha comparison of me to leo dicaprio in the movie "catch me if you can."

i dont know why either, i really am not a bad person, nor do i do sneaky things.......on a side note though, i never would have gotten caught

I have been told that I am a very good writer ( just not on here..) and can express myself well.

I have always wanted to write lyrics or music. Maybe someday.

I would have to completely agree with that WTM. You articulate your feelings and opinions very well with words----that's one of the reasons I enjoy your posts very much. Why wait? Try it out a little here and there, at least leave something for your kids or grandchildren---they'd love that no doubt. I have a book one of my uncles wrote all types of Irish stories, poetry, and lyrics in---all in his own handwriting. This book is about 76 years old now. You don't necessarily have to be a star to leave your legacy.

One of my favorite evenings in my adult life was singing 'out of the blue' at a small town bar that had a dance floor. I was sitting at a large table of friends and family who encouraged me to get up and sing---it was lots of old country music (Patsy Cline-I'm Back in Baby's Arms, Walkin' After Midnight, Sweet, Crazy) and a couple of other songs like Sentimental Journey, Killing Me Softly. I sang for about an hour with a crowded dance floor, a smoke-filled room, and it just felt like home. It's a great feeling when people want to dance to what you sing. Reminds me of growing up around piano players and huge crowds of family/friends partying at my parent's home and having sing-a-longs....laughing into the early morning hours. :D

Life changes quickly....enjoy what you can, when you can.

I have no doubt about that. There's probably many a millionaire....singing away in their cars----voices no one ever gets to enjoy. My voice isn't that good, but it's sure a lot of fun to sing. You just might want to try out a kareoke bar some place---get your feet wet with a nice cold beer in hand.:D

I have another untapped talent and that's cooking. I think I could be awesome chef if I had the chance.

Wow I've never done that it sounds fun. I wouldn't mind some voice training lesson first.

Anyway what other untapped talent do you have?

Uh-oh....I'm in trouble. You should see all my post-it notes around the house. I have to leave myself large notes on the door before leaving the house. Then the key is, remembering you made a notation not to forget what you're suppose to remember. :D

I get compliments on a lot of things. I'm torn on what I want to do in life because I have so many professors and co-workers (upper level) telling me I have strengths in all these different areas. I consider myself a skilled artist, musician, writer and student. I'm good at a lot of things, real good. I'm pretty blessed, which is awesome. Like my man Rick Ross, I'm a B-O-S-S, BAWZ.

The only thing I want to get better at is skateboarding. Can't wait to get my new set-up.

How can you lose what you never had? :D Just kidding.

If the Bengals just have a middle of the road defense they might be undefeated.

Oh that is slightly possible, but now I expect a 1-15 season.

Nah the Bengals offense is too good for that. It might not be a winning season but not 1-15.

Yeah... with Carson playing like he is tonight, which is horrendously, and with how much faith I have officially lost in this team(which is possibly the most faith I have ever lost in them) I am expecting a 1-15 season. At least then I can't be disappointed by how they do.

Untapped talent? Well... I could decide to start a career as a pornstar :D ;)

Anyways, I probably would say that I enjoy history to a great extent. I enjoy reading it, researching it, and analyzing it. I could of been one hell of a historian :D specifically a Roman historian....

LOL. I'm not going anywhere near that first comment.

I love history myself. Military history is my favorite area.
