There is normally some talk by now about people starting FF leagues and them trying to recruit participants. However, this blasted labor dispute has even disrupted this. So is there anyone that would like to start an FF league with the hope that there will be at least an abbreviated season, or is everyone waiting to see if there is a season before expending the time and energy of starting a league.

I always schedule drafts in the leagues I create to take place after the final pre-season games. Last year was the 1st time I ever participated in a league that did its draft before the preseason. Nevertheless, it does take time to recruit managers for a league and so that's why I normally start forming my leagues in late May-early June. If we wait until this labor dispute is settled, which may not be until August, then we might not have time to form up leagues before the start of the season.
