I see where the Bucs declined the offer.

Would you like to see Denver on the program?
Maybe not this year, but.....

Anything to get more coverage of my team. Even without a lockout, I'm Broncos starved every single year.

Hard Knocks is quite possibly the greatest TV show in the history of TV. Easily the best reality TV show.

yes.. it would fantastic insight on this young team being rebuilt..
You'd think with TT's huge polarization HBO should pretty interested in Denver as an option..
Also -- Unlike years past we now have an FO trying to reconnect with fans it so it doesn't seem as far fetched.

didnt josh decline it last year.....Something about not wanting other teams to get a jump on how we operate or plays or something....I swear I remember this.

But yes I would effing love it!!!!
Even though I try to go to as many TCs as i can and do a write up for everyone. Something to be able to tape and go back and look at one specific person is way better.

That way you can focus on one person for the entire time. While being able to go back to the same practice and focus on another.

Like said above. the more broncos the better.

BCowher was just asked if he would allow them and he said the couple times Pitt was asked, the invite wasn't even fully read and the answer was NO. There are just too many things that need to be said, individually, that can't be said with cameras around.

The players have enough distractions as it is, imo.

I would love Denver and our "QB controversy" on the program.

Maybe they can catch Orton making fun of Tebow again. Maybe then he wont get such a free pass for being "such a good guy."

I wouldn't like it. It's the last thing a team that has everything going on around it, needs.

top, sneakers you guys are really disappointing me...

You too nut, except not as much because you are more like the retarded step brother that does not know any better.

Hard Knocks- It is not a porno. It is where camera crews follow the team around during training camp. Filming the entire event, plays, players and interviews and such....its pretty cool.

I didn't say I have a problem with it. I just said I don't have a clue as to
what it is.

Is it on TV or something? Let me tell you about TV: It has been estimated
that the average U.S. family spends six hours a day in front of the TV. I may
have spent a total six hours watching TV in all of last month.

yeah, it's not really my fault that I am the way I am. Been hearing alot on this with the NFL network (I watch it at lunch with the other waterheads). I need to tune into it, it sounds interesting.

Why not? We're gonna suck regardless. It'd be kinda cool to get an inside look at a young team who is trying to build and grow.

Broncos not interested in 'Hard Knocks'

“We appreciate the value of the show, but, at this time, we are going to pass,” team spokesman Patrick Smyth said.

well that blows.. it would have been awesome to see the The tebow KO battle in our living rooms..

4 mid season arrests , A Sunami hit 3 players home in Somoa, the D-Coord wife died....and Chris Henry died......

Almost as bad as the Madden curse

Hard Knocks is quite possibly the greatest TV show in the history of TV. Easily the best reality TV show.

I watched quite a bit of the Ravens one when Sharpe was on the team, I think it was either the first or second year, but haven't watched it much since. Not sure why, when I do see a show here or there, I like it.

This will be the only time I will ever say it.... and it really hurts to say it.... but if the Broncos were to do Hard Knocks, it would have been better with McD.

Now to wash the vomit out of my mouth and back to normal Broncos talk.

As many Denver Broncos fans who follow the media are aware, we have politely declined the request (offer?) from HBO to be the featured team on their National Football League annual series, “Hard Knocks.”

It was Patrick Smyth, our Executive Director of Media Relations, who had the conversations with the network reps and politely declined on behalf of the organization a couple of months ago.

This is a good decision on the Broncos’ part, for two reasons.

First of all, once they are inside the building, with complete access to everything they see and hear, they are looking way behind the curtain. Just like the first time Dorothy got a glimpse of the wizard in the immortal classic, “The Wizard of Oz”, we knew, and she knew, and the wizard knew that he did not want everything exposed.

Remember, this is why we have doors on bathrooms, and on bathroom stalls. We understand the individual necessity to take care of hygiene, but as my three and a half year old grandson says when he goes into the bathroom, “Privacy, please!”

Secondly, we do not need HBO to do “Hard Knocks.”

We can do it ourselves, if we want to. And maybe we will.

We can set up the same type of presentation of meetings, treatments, practice prep, and so forth, and have the great staff of DenverBroncos.com video it, edit it, and put it up. And, if we did so, it would be 100% under control of the team.

Without having discussed this with John Elway or John Fox (and I have not), I can only presume that in line with the normal views prevalent in football operations, any team, any team, we all trust “us” more than any version of “them.”

And we're really blaming the show for this?

Bengals get arrested ALL THE TIME. The tsunami effected MANY people and Chris Henry was a thug since high school.
