First-year Colorado coach Jon Embree apparently wasn't exaggerating when he said the Buffaloes would begin to land blue-chip prospects, including at quarterback.
According to Rivals.com, Embree has landed one of the nation's best QB recruits for 2012 in Shane Dillon, a 6-foot-5, 185-pound senior-to-be at El Cajon (Calif.) Christian High School.
A pro-style quarterback that would fit Embree's offense, Dillion has a four-star rating by Rivals.com and is ranked No. 227 on Rivals.com's preseason national top-250 list for all positions. He threw for 2,982 yards and 19 touchdowns against 14 interceptions as a junior.
