The jury is still out on the Broncos' new power structure that features John Elway at the top of the team's football branch. After all, no games have been played, no seasons have yet passed.

But the first big test is coming in the form of this week's draft, and one thing is clear in the Elway model — more voices will be heard in the team's "war room" when the selections are made.

Former coach Josh McDaniels kept a pretty tight circle, and the room where the draft decisions were made was off-limits to most everyone.

But McDaniels is gone, the Broncos are rebuilding and the biggest change in the draft philosophy is the word "inclusive." General manager Brian Xanders has used the word plenty, as has Elway.

And this year the Broncos will add several people to the war room, including Keith Kidd from their pro scouting side, as well as several people from the team's personnel side and head trainer Steve Antonopulos for any medical questions.
