The Broncos will open their season under the bright lights of Monday Night Football at Invesco Field at Mile High vs. the Oakland Raiders at 8:15 p.m. on Sept. 12.

It will be Denver's first season opener at home since 2004.

It will be the 20th consecutive year the Broncos have played a Monday night game, the longest streak in the NFL.

The Broncos also will play a Thursday night game in November at Invesco Field vs. the New York Jets.

According to the Chicago Tribune, Jay Cutler and the Bears will play at Invesco Field in Week 14, Dec. 11.

For the complete Broncos schedule and the rest of the NFL schedules, follow denverpost.com for updates.

I wish we had San Diego away the first time playing them, since they are so poor the first half of the season. Would be good to get them on ther home turf, when they are at their worst.\

Other than that, we have most (other than GB) of our toughest games at home. So thats a plus.

Dave Logan on KOA is saying the schedule looks really tough but I don't think it is as bad as last year. One thing I always look at is if the team can get off to a fast start. With this schedule I think they can. I like the Broncos chances against Oakland in the opener, and the following week looks like a "w" against the Bengals. 2-0 going into Tennessee, where we won last year, could set up the possibility of a 3-0 start. After that things get tougher but the team could have some momentum going into the more difficult games (just like they did in 2009)

Thats basically how i looked at it too. However, after Tenn it gets really ugly in a hurry and if the mentality of this team cant be turned around any string of losses can make them sink again. Its not only the talent level we have to improve on but the "losing" mentality this team has had for years.

I don't see us winning more than 6 of those games. We could very realistically win 4 or less.

That schedule is just brutal.
Sorry, but i am not gonna try and blow sunshine up anyones kazoo, DEN will go 6-10 next year, unless they have an absolute monster FA/Draft. (hypothetically of course)
DEN got shafted.

Denver is just too unknown at this point to guess the wins, IMO. Could win 10, could win 4. Either way, they better get this lockout taken care of. Denver gets a home opener and will not get it because a lockout.

I just hope they kick the hell out of Chicago. Make the frowncannon cry. Maybe we could lease Rivers for a weekend?
