If you see some rather youthful-looking, fit folks making their way through DIA in the coming days and weeks, you'll know the Broncos have moved on to the next step in their draft preparations.

(A tip: Look for the guys with plenty of team gear in tow from other visits. The Bills, for example, have given out some backpacks that seem to be popular items this year.)

League rules allow each team to bring in 30 players for predraft visits. No on-field work is allowed. The visits are simply an opportunity for the players to sit down with the coaches, as well as the personnel people, for any additional questions, football or otherwise.

I will personally drive to DIA and trip each and every wideout/qb who gets off any plane.

Maybe there should be a sign there saying "Offense 3rd round or lower".....

Well, John Elway could autograph a football for them. That would be worth maybe a hundred dollars on E-bay!

Jaiquawn Jarrett: PK says he showed very well at senior bowl week. JJ says he can "definitely"cover slot wr's in nfl. Thinks run support is his best attribute...likes to play physical. Started 6gms as a Frosh, and was named best ST's player as well. Sounds like an instinctive player. Eh...not very informative.

Phil Taylor is on the radar in the AFC West.

NFL.com is reporting that Baylor’s massive nose tackle has worked out for the Kansas City Chiefs and he will work out for the Denver Broncos. The report also states Taylor will visit Kansas City in addition to his workout. Taylor is working out for several other teams.

He is looking like a sure first-round pick. Taylor fits both 4-3 and 3-4 defenses. Kansas City runs a 3-4 defense. Denver is moving from a 3-4 to a 4-3.

If Taylor, 6-foot-3, 334 pounds, ends up in Denver, it will likely require a trade down by the Broncos, who hold the No. 2 overall pick, or a trade up into the first round from their No. 36 pick in the second round. Denver has been working out players throughout the draft board to set up many scenarios.
