I'm surprised Plummer never got this award...He went A LOT of passes without throwing a pick in 05. I think he went a whole month and a half.

Broncos quarterback Jay Cutler will be named AFC Offensive Player of the Month for September, the National Football League informed the team on Wednesday.

Cutler’s selection as AFC Offensive Player of the Month is the first such award of his three-year career.

Cutler helped the Broncos to a 3-1 record and a first-place standing in the AFC West in September, completing 102-of-157 passes for 1,275 yards with nine touchdowns and four interceptions for a 98.6 passer rating.

No knock on Plummer, but in 2005, he was in the top 5 in passing yards in only 2 weeks, week 8 & 13, both times at #4. Shanny wanted more ball control during that season, and the Broncos were among the league leaders in rushing yards and rushing TDs. Plummer did make very few mistakes, and that's pretty good. :salute:
