Indianapolis _ One of them is scheduled to appear in the NFL scouting combine press room today at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The first of the potential candidates to speak was Alabama nosetackle Marcell Dareus. He’s soft-spoken but well-spoken.

“”I would describe myself as a nice guy,” Dareus said.

Next was defensive end Da’Quan Bowers.

as long as we get two DL in our first three picks, I'm good to go.

said it in another thread I'd like to see 3 front seven guys and an ORT taken in those first four picks all of which at this point are under 68.

if we do not get at least 3 starters by year end from these guys then someone in scouting needs to be fired..

I don't think you will see 3 front 7 guys taken in first 3 picks if fox is going best available.

I think it's possible if they fell those are the best players on the board.

4-3 DT's and DE's are the deepest BPA positions in this draft, no matter what team.
There is an absloute ton of value at both these spots well into the 3rd round.
Oh, and DEN just so happens to have the absolute worst 4-3 DTs and DEs in the NFL.
This is a no-brainer in terms of BPA for DEN, and yet theres always those LEX posters who are still yelling,
"But hes the next Ed Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I'm starting to back off on Fairley. Auburn had him listed at 6-5 300lbs, but at the combine, his true measurements were 6-3 290lbs. Sounds like the body type for a dominant DE in the 3-4, not a DT in the 4-3.

I wouldn't worry about that to much because he something you can't teach. He has a very long reach, which is helpful in keeping those big offensive line off of him. He's also very quick. That said, I have him and Dareus dead even as far which one I would take.

Quinn from UNC is another interesting prospect.

Yeah, I'm not saying Fairley won't be good in the NFL. I just think his style may not be the best fit for us at the #2 pick considering some of the other DLineman available.

I could see hit taking a two D-Lineman and then taking OT for the 3rd pick to replace Harris. Then best available after that.
