NFL Network is replaying the 1994 game against the Chiefs.

Montana v. Elway.

One of the greatest games ever, even though we lost at the end.

Was that the one in Denver when there was just a few seconds left and
Montana hits Davis in the EZ?

Why couldnt they show the playoff game from the 97 season?

It was just frustrating as a Broncos fan because we were FINALLY ready to kick aging Joe "I smeared your asses in the SB like no one has ever been smeared" Montana in the jimmy, and he roshambo'd us instead.

Horribly annoying. Having to sit through that stupid Super Bowl knowing if the QBs were switched Montana wouldn't have even have GOTTEN to the game and Elway would have been the one riding roughshod over the NFL...argh. :tsk:

It was finally revenge time.

And it slipped through our fingers.

That game hurt bad. The Chiefs used up all their mojo in that game though. I'll take the revenge in our road playoff victory during our first title run, thankyouverahmuch.

Yeah, he'd still be the best QB on your team. I don't know WTH Herm is doing, other than losing, but thanks again for hiring him.

It does hurt our rivalry though. :(

That game made me real mad.....I was 14 years old, and can still remember the final to drives like it was yesterday.

I was devastated after that game. I was so fired up after Denver scored, seeing Elway so pumped was great. All to have it deflated so quickly.

It was icing on a terrible season, but not nearly as bad as the 42-16 or whatever shellacking Denver got at Mile High vs. LAR earlier. That was the lowest point of the season.

I remember Jeff Hostetler looked like... Joe Montana. Disgusting.

Well, Wade Phillips was a horrible Broncos coach in Broncos history. Thanks God, they got Mike Shanahan after they fired Wade Phillips. Mike Shanahan making them into offensive powerhouses, before making the jump into the Hall of Fame.

I hated Montana after the Super Bowl when he helped destroy
Denver 55-10

but that was a great game in 1994.

KC actually had some wideouts then with JJ Birden and Willie Davis :tsk: ;)

Wade is still a horrible head coach.

was horrible in Buffalo.

My best friend is a Cowboys fan and I hope for him (and I like them as well)
that they win in spite of Cowboy Wade. (never over Denver of course though)

I don't live in Chief's counrty, so I'm not reminded of it constantly.

If that was the case, I'd hate that game with a passion. Not that I don't hate it, but as a football fan, it was a great game.
