I can't believe this. I saw the replay. Clady did nothing more than put his
hand on the guy's shoulder. These NFL morons up there . . . they ought to
ban alcoholic beverages in their offices.

Is this for the Clady/Hamilton chop block incident? That penalty call was pretty bogus, but to be fined for it is just flat out wrong. Clady barely even touched the guy and then Hamilton went for the cut block...if anyone should be fined it should be Hamilton. I don't get this at all.

Very lame. That was no chop block by Clady.....

*puts on her orange tinted glasses*

.....and when I watched the replay, it looked to me like Hamilton just tripped.

I remember seeing a pretty blatant helmet to helmet hit on Cutler there in the second half that wasn't even called. WTF is up with that? Usually they are all over that.

5,000 dollars is a small price to pay for that win, may I suggest we wait till they actually get screwed before we complain......

Yes Link, but it wasn't us who will have to pay the fine. It's Clady.

Don't you have any compassion? Do you realize there's a limit to that signing bonus? :D

I don't remember seeing a helmet to helmet shot, but I do remember Cutler getting hit really hard by Siler just as he threw. It was one of the few times all game the Bolts even got close to him.

I don't think Clady deserved a fine if it was on the chop block. I think it was a boarderline call to begin with.

That's pocket change to him. Like fining you 75 cents.

5000 dollars is 5000 dollars.

Plus, it was a bogus fine IMO.

after 2500 or so of these fines I'll be concerned with him running out of signing bonus money..

This is how bored I am. :coffee:

Ryan Clady apparently signed for 6 years and 14.75 million.

That's 2,458,333.33 a year if we're just gonna base it on a 6 year average and not weight it by when he actually gets what money.

So $5000.00 is .203% of his yearly income.

If you make $50,000.00 a year, then 75 cents is .0015% of your yearly salary.

They actually fined him more like a hundred bucks. ($101.50) :coffee:

Carry on.

I think if I'm Clady, I'll pay $5000 for a bad call as long as another one later in the game gets us a win.
