What do you think about bringing in shannys headache? Nobody can deny he's a game changer (when he wants to).
Haynesworth, anybody?

Maybe he could lay down and the opposing RBs will trip over him......

All kidding aside ( I think ). I wouldn't want him based on his whiney attitude but if they brought him in on an incentive based contract why not.

I don't mind players who might need a change of scenery or scheme to excel.

Fat Albert was called out publicly through the media by SEVERAL of his teammates. That's pretty rare in the NFL. Most players keep problems in house and definitely don't talk about another man's contract or playing dispute.

The fact that they did tells me Haynesworth was getting on their nerves at least as much as Shanahan's. He's a selfish baby, and no better a teammate than he is an employee. He has talent, but no I don't want him. Stepping on that dude's face wasn't aberrant behavior on his part, but a revelation of character that has been continually shown since his huge FA contract.

If he's free I might consider it, since we could then ditch him if it's a problem. He won't be free, and as his guaranteed money runs out he'll just be more of a problem.

He's also getting sued in a paternity case by a stripper. That sounds like a pretty big distraction. I would pass, don't need another Daryle Gardener.

Gotta admit, when he laid on the field for 20 seconds during a very long and extended passing play, that was some funny stuff.

If we ended our season one game away from the super bowl and needed a presence at DT i would say yes, but we were just a few games away and in a rebuilding mode...hell no.

Wait, wait... the more I look at it, the more I'm sure he's just playing possum and waiting for Vick to scramble back his way for the big sack! No point in tiring yourself out chasing Vick (who you're not going to catch anyway) around!

The right price = he pays us for the privilege of playing AND I get a smoked gouda grilled cheese sandwich.

I'm willing to negotiate down to Monterey Jack.

Even if we could have a realistic shot of landing him, no I wouldn't want him here.

If Haynesworth goes anywhere it is right back to Tennessee where they can afford him and can acquire him.

He might go to Detroit as well with Schwartz. I don't see him coming here at all, and IMO that's a good thing.

I'd love to have him on. Him and Nick Fairley can exchange pointers on how to become the dirtiest players in NFL history.

This is how I lean. And after all the tumult with McDaniels, I'm not sure I'm up to another guy who is creating drama.

Thats actually not a bad duo if Fairley's available and Haynesworth is cheap. I doubt it ever happens though.

He's probably too expensive. I don't mind players like him if they perform but he's not worth a big contract.

After his latest tirades, he'll be lucky to get Vet minimum.

Haynesworth was a borderline starter until right before his rookie contract was up, when he turned into a man among boys. After he gets paid, it's right back to the same old act again.

Raise your hand if you want to deal with that.

I don't know if he'd even be willing to sign a contract unless it's big money. There's probably teams that would be willing to give him a good contract, although not nearly as much as he could have made in Washington. Cowboys and Raiders come to mind.
