Maroney's rep had released a statement saying, "Mr. Maroney was unlawfully arrested for possession of weapons. He holds a permit to carry a concealed weapon and he had his permit on his person when he was arrested."

The rep added, "He was not arrested for any drugs nor was he involved in a high speed chase. He was released without being charged with any offense and we do not anticipate he will be charged with any criminal offense."

So he was a Bronco...for a season. He still wasn't one of my guys. I hated the pickup from the moment it was announced. Josh needed another ass kisser from New England. Unfortunately, New England don't let their good players walk unless they are looking for a large payday. Josh brought in all the shit NE guys who weren't worth shit and overpaid for them in the process.

I'd rather have overpaid for Lynch...at least the guy showed some potential at some point in his career. Maroney has had BUST written all over him from day one in NE.
