That said, I've uncovered Mike's halftime locker room agenda.

A. Begin with a speech. “Okay, guys, well, the first half went pretty well, and we’re doing okay. Don’t panic. The biggest danger at this point is to get cocky and mean. Remember that [insert opponent’s name] are people too, and they have mothers that love them, so play fair, and remember that it’s not who wins, but who plays fair that makes a real winner. If something happens out there in the 2nd half that makes us lose, remember that I’ll be here for you.

C. 30 seconds of silence for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
D. Continue watching “The Notebook.” When we left off last time, a young girl was crying.
