Somebody with more knowledge and time than I have needs to put together a roster of people who, chased off by the former coach who's name shall not be spoken, are in the playoffs now. Cutler, Stokely, Bates...

If the Saints didn't suck on the road in the playoffs (0-3) and Seattle didn't have a losing record (7-9 plus they got blown out by the BRONCOS), then I would say you are on to something!!

there are plenty of people that took the Seahawks and 10.5 pts that are counting their money right now and we are only in the 3rd quarter.

b/c at this point it does not seem that NO is going to cover even if they do manage to win this game.

I'm on board with this.

Jeremy Bates was a fantastic play caller when he was here. We had the leagues 2nd rated offense under his watch.

Good for him to be in the playoffs. He will one day be a head coach in the not too distan future. I love how he is mxing it up against the world champs.

WHICH is why I would want a HC who knows Defense and get us a good O coord....

Defense (GOOD ones) coaches are very hard to get

McD may be an idiot for a lot of reasons, but I would still cut Stokley if we had to do it over again today. And I love Stokley.

Lloyd, Royal, Gaffney, Thomas, Decker and Willis all have better skill sets.

Saints' D has been horrid today. They must have taken the week off.

I hate the Seahawks, but all week the more I heard people saying there was no way they could beat the Saints, the more I got the feeling this was going to be a trap game. Looks like some of the Saints players were believing that press and thought this would be a cake walk.

I hate the 'Hawks

Though I do have to say, even though I hate the 'hawks, it would be kind of cool to see a team that entered the playoffs at 7-9 go on to win the Superbowl.

this could be his last home game in Seattle.

Look at career backups and what has happened to them over the years after the NFL gets tape on them.

Orton is at best a career back up, and the tape they have on him shows what he cant do... beat you by throwing the ball.

Think about how many good QBs are coming out in this draft. Nobody believes Orton will lead them to a Superbowl. If you're already a team targeting Mallett, Locker, Gabbert, or Newton then why spend even more on Orton who's not going to mentor your young guy or make you any more competitive than starting a rookie would?

I could see Orton traded for a 4th round pick to back-up and established starter somewhere more than for a 2nd to be the starter. There is no more mystery about this guy. 2 teams have now replaced him as the starter. I don't think any team out there truly believes he's the guy to build their team around or get them "over the hump".
