With all the snow in Denver last week it got me thinking. Do we either have or need to go after a tail back that excels in these types of conditions?

I don't think we have anyone on our team right now that has exceled playing in this snow. Is this something that our scouting department needs to consider? Would you use a roster spot to bring in a legitamit snow bacK?

Not necessary. The times I've seen a snow game in Denver in the past 10 years has been counted on a single hand with change returned. It doesn't happen enough for it to be a concern.

There is a rumor he is too stupid to deal with bad weather. I say give Travis Henry a shot if he can work out some kind of work/release deal.

clinton portis was the greatest snowback of all time, what we really need is more of a sandback for when we play in california

I think this is a valid consideration Bill. With climate change occurring, mother nature's going to be throwing all kinds of curves around the league.

Henry could get some of his kids out there to clear the snow from the field before every Broncos' possession.

A few of his other kids could clear the snow from the seats in the stadium during the game.

as far as snow quarterbacks, Fran Tarkenton played well in the snow, I thought. So did Doug Flutie

pouncey is a good snow player. he would probably make the "snow bowl" if we had one. all they have is a sand bowl :(

Clearly Henry is the most accomplished snowback what with the 10 year sentence for cocaine trafficking.

Although that game has painful memories, still can't quite believe we lost. The one game where Kerry Collins decided to have the game of his life...

Actually, talking about players playing well in adverse conditions, if there's one thing I liked about Cutler it's that his game wasn't really affected by the weather - the NYJ game at Meadowlands sticks out where he put up 350+ yards and 3 TDs in some pretty dire winds.

Yeah, I flew up from San Antonio for that game. It was my son's first game at Mile High (he's a Bucs' fan anyway). Even though it was a loss and it was cold, I have to admit that I still had a blast.
