So should "The Drive" now refer to today's game winning drive rather than Elway's drive against the Brownies?

I dont know, did he start on his own 5?

Last week, when he was backed up against his goal line, before they ran three runs and gave up a safety, I thought "this would make a great Tebow version of The Drive".

Todays game was for more important and much better then Elway ever did for this franchise. :salute:

That was actually Keith Bishop who made that remark...not that it matters.

Shhh don't blow his cover.

Anyway, on a serious note, you can't really compare Elway to Tebow. Tebow's college accomplishments outweigh anything Elway ever did.

Even when I say it some people are still stupid and fall for it.

Ridiculous poll.

Vote for Elway or the fleas of 1000 camels will infest your armpits.

did elway have like 40 yards of pass interferences on "the drive" like tebow did on his?

Not only should it be called the drive, Tebow should have the opportunity to change his number to #7 if he wants to.

Yeah, I'm thinking we un-retire the #7 and get that stupid #15 of his back.
All of Elway's stats are in trouble after what we saw today.

He should demand it, in fact.

it may not be "the drive"

but it's better then 7 did in his 2nd game

it's still means only one thing - whoever coaches here next year is not drafting a QB for the next 5 years

Why do people feel so though Tebow is somehow threatening Elway...as if thats possible?

Why is it not OK to accept both? Why must they be pitted against each other?

Oh, anyone who has been a Bronco fan for any length of time would simply have to admit today was way, way, way better. I mean, when all was said and done, what did the original drive actually do for us?

The original Drive was one of the worst things to happen to Broncos fans, making us expect AFC championships and Super Bowl appearances.

When Elway isn't Elway anymore then the "Drive" won't be the "Drive" either i suppose.

I would prefer to compare this win to Elway's first big win when he led a 21-19 victory over the Colts in 1983. Let Tebow win a playoff game before we start comparing this to "The Drive".

Honz....how freaking DARE you!! Did your mother drop you on your head?

As if that's even a question....Tebow now OWNZ the drive.

Who is this Elway feller you speak of?

You preach the truth brother! Thank goodness, Josh McDaniels got us away from that destructive way of thinking. Whew!
