Ok, we have had four versions prepared. I'm sure individual players can be changed, so I think you should focus on which has the look and feel that you think fits the forum best. I will leave the voting up until sometime Monday, and change to whichever banner gets the most votes well before the game.

After that, we can work on any fine tuning of the banner.

If you actually lived and watched through the "Past" you would understand it will never go away. After suffering like us older fans, you will always appreciate the past and hold on to those memories from the past. We suffered through the worst agonizing Super Bowl losses you could imagine. Then to come back and win two in a row like we did, was very special. So, no, it's not over now. It' will never be over in our minds and memories. You're just too young to remember probably. I personally will never let it go!!! Bah.......I can't believe I read that...

I like the stadium and the effects of the 3rd and 4th ones, but with only Cutler there, it's lacking something.

I like that number 2 has different players, but I agree with Italianmobstr7 that it should have current players. I actually like the current banner the best, if you're capturing the old and new.

I agree - As Tned said - which ever one is chosen, it can be tweeked. Right now, it appears it will be #2. I believe both Elway and Little should be added, and would assume this would be possible by making everything a little smaller.

I made #2, and it can certainly be tweaked. Finding good Elway cuts and Little cuts are pretty tough. It seems like mine is running away with the race, but I will be able to take what others say into consideration and edit it within the week. I think it'll be fine for the first game if it stays in the lead.

I really like #2 , but I like that backgrounds of the others. A sunset like in 1 and would be great behind 2. I esp like having the 27 and 29 on there. To me it shows respect for a major loss in our "Bronco Family".

Was a choice between #'s 1 and 2.

I like the background in #1 with the stadium and the sunset. Just could use a little more.....not sure what though.

I liked #2 cause TD and Atwater, but like others have said, could use some different players. I like a mix of old and new. Funny the comments about "Letting the past go".....this is the NFL, all you hear about is past glory. The Orange Crush, The Steel Curtian, The Purple People Eaters, Lombardis' Packers, etc.....97-98 will forever be OUR YEARS!!!

Good point. I should have put all four up and indicated they would rotate.

We will do a 'run off' after the MNF game, during the week, as it is possible one player vs. multiple could have influenced people vs. just the design.

Your two (different colors) combined were a solid, second.

#1 to me is clearly the choice...now if you could rotate sets of players thru, it'd be gold. Like mayne the following:

Elway/Sharpe
TD/Atwater
Zimmerman/Elam

I LOVE the stadium background in #1 above all else and would like to see it included.

That would be cool. Most people in the initial thread where me and Dream put our designs were hung up on having players for some reason. I think the fan angle would be more appropriate maybe somewhere down the line.

Ok, new banner is up. Some of you (depending on your browser settings), might need to press CTRL-F5 in order to refresh your cache and see the new image.

By default, Internet Explorer and probably Firefox, are set to "Automatically" determine if the cached pages and images (in the temp internet directory) are current. So, sometimes it won't reload new graphics, or at least not right away.

You can change that setting (I always change mine to "check for new version every time I visit the page") or periodically press CTRL + F5 to force a complete refresh of a page.
