j/k.

Assault, not assault and battery. Probably just got in a yelling match.

Innocent until proven guilty.

It was a confrontation with a parking lot attendant...Probably nothing real serious...not making excuses for him, but the other guys were busted for assaulting women and that is a lot more serious...some attendant probably got in dooms face for double parking and doom tossed him aside

He hasn't been able to take his anger out on QB's this year so he prob just wanted to sack the guy....

When asked about the incident in October, Dumervil said he simply forgot his credentials and a security guard refused to let him in at the player's entrance.

Words were exchanged but the matter was settled when another Broncos official vouched for Dumervil and he was allowed into the stadium, Dumervil said at the time.

His lawyer, Harvey Steinberg, said tonight, "It's truly unbelievable based on these circumstances that anyone would have to go to court. All he was trying to to do was go to work."

Ya know, in order to work there those retards should get pictures of the team and be forced to memorize their faces so there is no confusion.

I could recognize any Broncos' starter on the street and I don't see them every day when they come to work...

He was pissed after Denver got crushed at home by the Raiders. Lord knows I could have been charge with 'assualt' myself that night.

Unlike the Cox incident this actually sounds pretty benign.

It's amazing there aren't more incidents involving parking attendants. J/K--not really.

Innocent until proven guilty....

and even then...
the guy gets to pay the price required and continue his life...

everybody has bad days...

and in this society...
a bad day can become ridiculous once the authorities get involved.

I know a guy whose wife who was being so obstinate...
that he threw a coffee cup at a wall to let off steam.

His own cup...
his own wall...
his own house.

60 days in county jail.

Should he be condemned for the rest of his life?
Or was the 60 days enough of a price to pay?

None of my lookout...
I still play poker with him.

Don't forget that this guy will NEVER again legally own a gun with ANY Domestic conviction.

You should check out the case where a cop lost his job because he threw a water balloon at his wife...LOL Seems you cannot be a cop without a gun these days.

He did the same thing Broncos fans do on Raider Sunday at Invesco. He got into it with someone...a parking attendant. Have any of you dealt with the parking attendants down there? They are freaking parking nazis. Both of my boys work concessions down there for wrestling and trying to drop them off is an utter JOKE. You have to leave them out on the street, can't drive down next to the entrance because heaven forbid you get too close or you park and don't pay the $20 charge. It really is utterly ridiculous. The disturbing the peace stemmed from not having proper identification to enter the stadium. Whatevs. Wouldn't even be a story if it weren't for all the other issues this season.

Funny, at my job....all employee vehicles have stickers with numbers on them. It lets parking control know who is supposed to be there and who isn't. The sticker list corresponds to make, model, color of vehicle and license plate.
If a guy loses his wallet, he can still come to work.

But our security was designed by actual cops......not parking attendants.

Just sayin

To get an assault charge didn't Elvis have to make physical contact with the attendant? No one has said what that contact was. Did Elvis shove him? Tackle him? Spank his butt or what????

:questionmark:

Most of the time, physical contact is considered "battery". Assault can be something as simple as a verbal threat in some states. The "security guard" probably put his hands on Doom when Doom tried to walk by to go to work and Doom probably took exception to it and pushed him or slapped his hand away. That's enough to bring charges.

What I always find amazing is that there are so many people in some kind of imaginary position of authority who always seem to get away with putting their hands on people when they sure as shit are not law enforcement. Paid stadium "security", bouncers, hell even the body guards of celebrities can just randomly beat the shit out of whomever they want and are never hauled away or even charged. I guarantee somebody put their hands on Doom first and he probably retaliated. Somehow in our jacked up society, that's illegal because the guy was wearing a T-shirt that said "security" or "parking attendant" and had to sit through a 30 min training video... :tsk:
