makes sense, give him another week or so to rest. he might even be a little too rusty for san diego so maybe weigman should be ready for that too.

Not a good start to the season. But i will say the little that the first team O-line has played with out Nalen during the pre-season, has looked pretty damn good. Even at Center.

And i'm really liking the Gandy re-signing even more now.

Weigman has looked good so far. Let Nalen rest and get ready to finish his career out strong.

Never really expected him to play Monday night. CW will do a fine job.

No bueno.

Why?

Anyone remember the snap-troubles Cutler has had...

Doom and Manuel both participated fully in today's practice. As did Boss.

I got my info from Burger Bill's blog, which is surprisingly informative. I enjoy reading it.

Cw is a veteran. He'll do fine with Jay. I'm sure they are working on the snaps pretty heavy this week. Don't see a problem with this.

We may be looking at a situation where Nails and Weigman become effectively the same player. they're both as as battle tested as they come. Nod of course to Nalen for post season play.
Tommy's beloved by all Broncos faithful, but lets face it. Dude's old as dirt (in football years) It may take a few weeks for Him to be ready.
the signing of Weigman may end up being as huge as it gets, if Nalen's knee injury lingers.

Yeah, I had actually thought it might be better if we don't switch back to Nalen in the first game anyways. . .he hasn't been fumbling, changing the center for week one wouldn't exactly improve our odds there.

Wiegman is more than capable. He is exactly what we needed to sub Nails. Agreed......they are the same player. Wiegman anchored one of the better Olines to play the game for quite some time. Its what he has upstairs that makes him so valuable.

Welcome to the good guys Wiegman.:salute:
