From yahoo it's noted that Moreno has scored a total of 16 TDs (11 rushing and 5 rec) since entering the league two years ago. Only Arian Foster has more in the last two years (18 total, 16 rushing and 2 rec).

If he could just stay healthy...

I've always liked KnoMo.
His stats would be much better if we gave him a solid O-line to run behind...

And it appeared that the oline is becoming more than gel in terms of run blocking. Bummer is, now it seems that pass blocking is sucking.

I have always been a big supporter of his but I never would have guessed that. Good find.

I like Moreno. Always have. He just needs a little daylight to run thru, thats all. Kind of hard to get anywhere when your offensive lineman are being pushed into the backfield, and that was happening a lot.

He has a nose for the endzone when we are near it. I don't see him as a homerun hitter but a guy who will get a runner home from second or third with a double (sorry for the baseball analogy).

I like the guy, just wish he wouldn't try to juke and slider so much.. he's not just that type of back -- wish he would realize it..

Knowsh was runner up for OROTY last season. I don't know how the "flop" label got attached to him.

It would be great if he could get on track, behind our more experienced O-line...
and give Tebow a good running game to captain in the last 3 games...
That would make a big difference in how well the Rookie might fare.

There's no baseball in football!

Adrien Peterson had 18-touchdowns in 2009 alone. Maurice Jones-Drew had 16-total in 2009. Michael Turner has had 18 over the past two years. Chris Johnson has 25 over the past two years. Peyton Hillis has 13 TDs this year alone and still has four more games to go (nevermind that his TD-production has been high in limited play prior to this year). Frank Gore has 18 total TDs over the past two years.

Perhaps this statistic is for 2nd year players only? Arian Foster is in his 2nd year.

I think he means of the players who were rookies in 2009?

Because the super smart football fans roaming the interwebs thought that since he didn't win ROY and hasn't broken the 2k mark yet, he's a bust.

I think it has less to do with that than you think. If Cutler was still a Bronco and we hadn't won a Super Bowl yet, it'd be the same shit.

If you mean only folks from 2009 then, yeah, he stands out amongst a bunch of busts or people sharing carries.

Not saying Moreno is bad, but the fact the guy who is doing better went undrafted is the very reason I think drafting running backs that early is an awful idea.

Care to provide proof that people have labeled him as an underachiever for the reasons you stated?

And you love everything McDaniels. By the way he is no longer a part of the Broncos organization.

I completely agree.

I think we've seen in the last few games what a healthy Moreno behind an OL that actually keeps him from getting hit the instant he gets the ball is capable of. Moreno will end up being one of the positive things that come from the McD regime. Regardless of who we could have taken or maybe even should have taken, Moreno is a Bronco and I think he'll end up being a pretty damn good one.
