No. He is either done or he is a head case and a locker room cancer. He also averaged like 2.9 YPC last year, I think.

Either am I homie, but some had suggested trading for him. . . just for giggles.

It would be nice to look at him if we still had some training camp or something. I don't really think he would deserve a roster spot in order to prove himself at this point.

Change of scenery might do him good. This hammy injury he's had seems to be lingering forever though. It's got to make you wonder WTH is wrong.

No. I just don't think he's an upgrade over Young/Hall/Aldridge and eventually Torain.

i was opposed to trading for him but to pick him up without losing anything for him isnt that big of a risk. i keep seeing people point out that he only had 2.9 yards per carry. the dude was injured all year last year! he is only in his 8th year and has produced 1200 yards and 12 tds the prior 3 years with an average of over 4 yards per carry with the exception of last year. last summer many bronco fans were wishing we had tried to trade for him. he was injured in a game....torain was injured....it happens and especially to runningbacks. now rudi is back healthy and has added 15-20 pounds of muscle.

but, it would be really hard to find room for him. torain is expected to be ready by week 6 or so and with hall, young and alridge all looking like they can run the rock it would be hard pressed to fit him in. we would have to get rid of hall. im not really sold 100% on hall yet or young to say the least.

Dream, I think the swelling may have moved to your head.

Please go to the doctor.

They cut him. I like our RB, but I would take Rudi over Pittman. It makes me wonder though, cuz I had heard he got stronger over the offseason and was looking like the old Rudi.

Hmmm...Interesting. I think he could be cool on the team. But it probably won't happen.

I'm not trying to be mean, this is just some helpful advice since you're new here. At least look over the first page of threads to make sure you're not posting a duplicate thread: http://www.broncosforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20286

I hate to call you out on this, but when the thread you duplicated is only about 3-4 threads down on the main page, it's just a little annoying.

No thanks on Rudi Johnson. He was outplayed by Watson and Perry, and he's got the lingering injury issue. Young, Hall, Torrain, and Aldridge, no way is Rudi an upgrade or has upside over any of them.

Leave picking up the league's trash to the Raiders. Pass on Rudi.

You're right, and if we take Johnson, he might join him, hehehe. :D

It seems now that the Broncos need depth at RB. Going in with Young, Hall, and Pittman is pretty good, but I would like to see what Rudi can do in a Broncos system. The guy has multiple 1,000+ rushing yards, but the downside is that he can't seem to stay healthy. Which could turn to another miserable time of "spend money on a player just to have him be injured and sit on the bench."
