That actually makes a ton of sense, not that he has the resume...but it's easier to replace a running back coach rather then a coordinator, I don't think he'll be the long-term answer either and few would think he could be.

FWIW, I don't think the Rooney rule applies to interim coaches or in-season coaching changes. Almost positive I have heard that a couple times.
