What is your prediction for this Sunday's game? Not intrested in the Orange blinders answers, what is your REAL feeling/prediction for this game?

The Broncos never win at Arrowhead in December. We lose, not sure if it will be close or not.

Had this game been played earlier this year at Arrowhead i think we could of won it. I think in the past 3-4 years when we play there earlier we fare better. But considering the ass whooping we laid down on them and its a december game i think we get rolled. I predicted in the weekly thread a 49-21 KC victory. Hope im wrong but thats my gut feeling.

Lets see.

One team fighting to keep lead in AFC West, while the other team is fighting... for nothin'

One team is fighting for pride after the last matchup, the other team is fighting.. for nothin'

One team is home with an angry home crowd behind them, at a stadium that is known to be loud, while the other team doesn't.

One team has a a team that is up and rising while the other team is falling like a stone.

I think the One team has a lot of things going for them that the other doesn't.

lets see

one team would love to play spoiler to hated rival, the other team cant.

One team has a coach that wants to not shake hands again, the other wants too

One team lost to a pathetic team and looking to bounce back, the other doesnt

One team has jobs and a coach on the line, the other team, not so much

One team still has an outside shot at the playoffs but must run the deck. The other team can coast to playoffs.

I think that ONE team has their backs against the wall and everything to play for that the other does not.

We humiliated them last time, don't for a second think that this is going to be the same team, we've already got issues across the board, Dawkins, Thomas, Goodman and McBath might all be out, according the injury report none of them practiced today. That leaves us real thin at the corner and safety positions, and means that one of our emotional defensive leaders will be out, I believe McDaniels already said he did not expect him to play Sunday.

St. Louis lit us up through the passing game, even if we take away the run...the Chiefs saw the blueprint how to beat us, add in that were even thinner in the defensive backfield compared to this last Sunday's game against the Rams. Unlike the Rams, Kansas City also has a much better defense then St. Louis, so a comeback is not going to work in my honest opinion. Plus, Kansas City knows that to take the division they may have to beat us, they've already beaten San Diego once, but San Diego beat the shit out of us and they lost to Oakland, but San Diego losing to Kansas City and to Oakland gives the Chiefs a favorable position, they need to beat us because we're 1-2 in the division and that one win is against them, if they can split the Win-Loss with us, that gives them an edge even though Oakland has won more divisional games then either the Chargers or Chiefs. They're going to play us like it's the game that decides the AFC West title.

33-20 Kansas City, and the game will not be as close as the score sounds, that's my opinion.

The more I think about this game, the more I fear Stink might actually be closer to being right about this game. If our team colapses in Arrowhead like they have at Invesco this could be worse than the Oakland game.

How's that!?!?!? I understand the frustration but let's not get too overdramatic!!

If we can survive the first quarter at Arrowhead, I think things calm down but we have to be close or tied (or have a lead) to have a chance. If KC is up 14-7 or 14-3 in the first this game is over. We are too fragile as a team mentally to come back from that. If we can hang around or even get in a shootout somehow, it is possible to win. But KC has everything on the line, so its hard to say.

The complexion of this game means everything. We will have to play perfect and stop the run as well. if we can do that (no turnovers etc.) I can see us winning by 3-7 points, but if the opposite happens (KC jumps out early, we have turnovers) this thing will get out of hand QUICK.

Good scenario Broncos 24-20

Bad Scenario KC 38-10

Probable Scenario KC 31-Broncos 21

Should be fun to watch unless its a blowout.

I find the point differential between my gut and my heart is often close to the truth, though the Raider game skewed that average immensely!

Well, the other part of my "good" scenario relies on a good/average running game from us. If we go three and out with a running game and not a incomplete pass, that keeps the clock running which may keep KC to around 38 points with the extra runoff!

This is an intriguing game to me not for the outcome, but the actual game itself. I listen to a lot of local denver sports talk and the way the players talk about McD they seem to still buy in. I know thats what you expect them to say, but when they try to crawl back last week and still be competitive you have to wonder. This game will say A LOT about the state of the team.

All of the emotions in this game may play to KC's advantage, but could be to their detriment. The pressure is 100% on them in this one. If we get up on them early, they may get even more angry/frustrated and self destruct. I don't see it as likely, but we absolutely have to run the ball and take the Arrowhead crowd out of it. I don't see us winning this one, but I didn't see us beating them the first time, either.

Good point. If anything we are consistently inconsistent. Almost beat the 9-2 Jets? Check. Get Blowed at at home by the Raiders? Check. Destroy the Chiefs in a similar fashion? Check. Make MasterShake crazy on Sunday? Double Check.

I don't know why Denver has had to play AT Kansas City in December so many
times. Maybe they've come here a lot, too, I don't know. I haven't kept track.
But it seems Denver surely has visited KC a lot during this month over the years . . .
