Was just looking at my 2007 Broncos Calender, thought this was interesting:

January - Champ Bailey
February - Ashley Lelie
March - Al Wilson
April - Rod Smith
May - Ebenezer Ekuban
June - Tatum Bell
July - John Lynch
August - Ron Dayne
September - Nick Ferguson
October - Tom Nalen
November - Ian Gold
December - Jake Plummer

That's a lot of players no longer with us within a two year period!

Wow. Nine of them are gone.

And if Nalen's knee doesn't get better, we're looking at a tenth.

This is Nails last season no matter what. Whether its playing all season or just partial he isn't coming back after this year.

 Damn that is a lot of changes. I was thinking the other day how our whole team looks a lot different then the team that made it to the AFC Championship game. And that was just 2 years ago. Its like we got a makeover.

Actually, if you take a close look, the Broncos have improved on every
position that has changed, except for Wilson (and Nails if he's gone).

So it's not half bad.

Yep. Another institution gone.

Wiegmann probably has another year or two, then maybe Nasty Lichy can take over.

When Jay Cutler went #11 overall to the Broncos in 2006 I(like some others) just knew this team was going to be overhauled. I think the team has done a pretty good job so far and is heading down the right path. I'm not looking for this year to be the big season because there are definately some holes that need to be filled, but going into 2009 & 2010 I think this team will be right up there with the best. Yes, you can question some of the signings, but I think the organization has done an excellent job so far in the rebuilding process. The Broncos are a young team today & there will be ups & downs this upcoming season. Playoffs would be great, but I don't expect it. Like I said overall, the team is definately heading into the right direction. The current team brings hope. And as a fan I will take it.
