Has rushing 3 players and dropping 8 ever resulted in something positive? I don't care if the whole team in coverage, it's like flag football with no QB pressure. If you give a guy 5+ seconds to throw, someone is bound to get open. It's not like forcing the other team to throw underneath by playing umbrella coverage works unless you can tackle, either. Sproles and Crayton taught us that, too last night.

Blitzing didnt seem to work, either. We need Doom back to create pressure without bringing 7 and we need Ayers back to seal the edge and make tackles.

When you have to rely on bringing 6 or 7 guys to create pressure, elite QBs will tear you apart. You have to rely on your front 4 creating pressure. Notice the only sack came from Bannan. Haggan disappeared and Hunter is not a pass rusher. We are in trouble against good passing teams if we cant get pressure - especially with guys like Dawkins and Hill in coverage...they will get beat every time.
