IAOFM - Mathews out for Dolts

San Diego made two pairs of corresponding roster moves in preparation for tonight's game versus the Broncos. They released LBs David Herron and Brandon Lang and activated TE Kory Sperry and RB Curtis Brinkley from their practice squad. Brinkley was activated in place of rookie RB Ryan Mathews, who has already been ruled out with an ankle injury. Sperry was signed in anticipation that one tight end of either Antonio Gates or Kris Wilson will be held out of tonight's game. According to Kevin Acee of the SDUT, Gates will try to play. We'll keep you posted at IAOFM as more player news becomes available.

SD is panicking. If Gates goes down, and is lost for the season, so are they. IMO
