Can't say he didn't have a chance to prove himself this year. With Ayers and Doom out he could have stepped up huge. What a huge bust.

Broncos head coach Josh McDaniels announced Wednesday morning that the team has released former first round draft pick Jarvis Moss. The move comes as Robert Ayers, also a first-round pick and outside linebacker, is set to return from a foot injury that has kept him out more than a month.
Please see the link to read the rest of the article.
I thought Ayers wasn't going to be back until after the SD game?
Man, that would great if we have him for Monday night.

Sad days, no superbowl for us...
Oh that Moss, man what a shame the guy couldnt put it all together. He had the right build and speed at one point to make a good OLB.

Jarvis is too tall to work at a mall kiosk. I am afraid he would frighten the customers.
I bet he could stock shelves without a ladder, though.

Yeah, and as a UPS driver, he's probably not too tall to have sex with peoples wives.

I wish him luck finding a real job, its rough out there, 3 months over 400 apps/resumes sent, 3 interviews.
But being an ex-player should land him a job at subway, they seem to work that way.
This is just one big conspiracy against Shanny's guys.

This was just tweeted by Andrew Mason and it was pretty eye-opening.
"The #Broncos drafted 17 players in 1st/2nd rounds from 2000-07. With the release of J.Moss, only one is left with the team (D.J. Williams)."

It's about time.
I wouldn't be surprised to see San Diego bring Moss in for a look see. It makes sense for so many reasons.
I could also see a couple of other teams taking a look.

43D teams MIGHT look at him. SD/OAK would be 1st guesses. Not sure they need to worry about digging any info from him. Not sure he's the brightest knife in the closet. :D

If Moss blows up elsewhere I won't hold this one against McDaniels. Worthless for years and considering that fact his tweets this year left a particularly bad taste.
Hopefully no team adds him and he winds up having to grind it out in the job market like the rest of us.

We have zero stud players on either side of the ball from a decade of first and second round drat choices.

Shanahan should have to take him, start the dope, and pay him big bucks to do nothing. For as long as he lasts in Washington.

Yep. This was a prime chance for him to step up and show that he could actually be a football player and he didn't do it. After 1.5 years under the new regime it's time to cut bait.

One of those roster moves that makes me say 'feh.' Moss stunk, and he won't be missed.
As many...I'm not surprised at all. A little surprised it took this long...but still.

Then why would he want to make it worse with a waiver wire pick up in Moss? Randy Moss can do a better job.

Im trying to find those great memories but having a tough time seeing more than a sack (or was it a half a sack?). Another shitty Shanny player that was given every opportunity to play and sucked. So many Shanny players are working at a mall Kiosk somewhere in America.

I understand there's a huge mall somewhere in MN.

There is also a huge mall in Edmonton and maybe he could catch on with the Eskimos of the CFL. They have sucked for the past few years.

BUST!!!!Well, we should have known...didnt he leave training camp one year because he said he didnt really feel like playing football anymore? Then someone had to beg him to return...sheesh...throw him in a heap with Jawalrus Russell and other #1 flops...Good riddance loser...how many tackles did he make in his career? 3? And those were probably for piling on..WORTHLESS..TOTALLY WORTHLESS..EVEN MORE WORTHLESS THAN ALPH SMITH

EVEN MORE WORTHLESS THAN ALPH SMITH
And held on much longer than A. Smith as well.
side note: Wasn't Moss one of Shanny's picks? Interesting how McDaniel booted his own guy much quicker than Moss.

I will remember him most for having an AWESOME Touchdown called back. Coulda cost us the game...what a sad career, except for him, he banked. What does he care...He really tried to walk away a couple years ago but he changed his mind and came back...what a total waste of money
