If anyone plays this game please post an opinion about it.

The long awaited game that has been in development for what seems like forever, finally sees release day in some spots today, and around the US tomorrow.

I don't know. When IGN doesn't submit a review close to release day, it is usually because the game is average or outright bad, not to affect release day sales too much, so I fear it may suck.

EDIT- I was wrong. It releases on 8/19.

I played the demo, it seemed pretty fun. I'm anxious to hear from somebody who has played the full version now that it's released.

Looks to be worth a rental, 2 player co-op sounds like fun. As I stated, I enjoyed the demo. I just need something to hold me over till, Fallout 3, GOW 2, Fable 2, Saints Row 2, etc. So many games coming out. I love my 360

Just saw a review on G4. They gave it a "very strong" 4/5 stars. They said the amount of options (items, weapons enhancements, basically all the rpg type elements) are insane, and make you want to play through the game twice. The only reason it didn't get 5 are minor issues such as the story isn't as strong as it could be, and projectile weapons have minor aiming issues. They said it's well worth the time and money. It's also part 1 of a planned trilogy.

Another reason it didn't get a higher score was because of 'repetitive combat'?

I think mostly ALL games have repetitive combat, no?

In Fighting games, don't you just hammer an opponent constantly?

In most FPSs, isn't all you do is SHOOT THINGS?

Look at all the series of games from Koei. All you do in every game is fight hundreds and hundreds of enemies over and over, and gameplay is identical to each iteration, yet they sell millions by the truckload every year.

Have it right now from Gamefly. Lots of fun. Definitely worth playing.

I thought it was ok... I won't throw you too much I don't want to spoil it!

The item management was a bit of a pain though, reminded me of Mass Effect. Though with ME, the game was so awesome that I didn't mind it too much. It isn't as rewarding here IMO.

Good game though. I hope the rest of the trilogy are as good.

WAY to short.
