My husband is a die-hard Broncos fan but was overseas in the military during the Broncos win at the XXXII Superbowl and has never seen the game. Does anyone have a copy of the game they'd be willing to send to me (I'm happy to pay)? I thought it would make a nice Christmas present.

Thanks!

If you lived close to me I'd gladly lend it to you.

I have it on tape but I've always been concerned how VHS tapes wear out over the years. I should convert it (and SB 33) to DVD...

That's a clip from the "America's Game" episode chronicling the 1997 Denver Broncos. You can watch the whole thing on Hulu.

I have both on DVD and would love to make you a copy of each. The one is a VHS convert and the ATL one is regular DVD I think. I got them for 1.) I wanted them for my collection 2.) I was so drunk of GB SB I didn't remember anything from the 1st quarter other than the helicoptor spin and Elways face as he held up the trophy.

This DVD called "The Best Game Ever" is the copy you want:

http://www.amazon.com/Super-Bowl-XXXII-NFL/dp/6305263027

NFL Films did this as a promotional DVD when the technology was new, What is really cool about this is that it uses DVD technology to provide alternate viewing angles of key plays along with radio calls by your choice of the Broncos' network or the Packers' network. There are other little nifty items such as the game statistics and slow-motion photography delivered in the way only NFL Films can do it.

There are also copies floating around of the NBC broadcast of SB XXXII with Dick Enberg, Phil Simms and Paul Maguire on the call. It, too, is a great experience to watch for any Bronco fan. Recall that the Broncos were heavy underdogs to the Packers as the NFC had won every Super Bowl for over a decade so this was expected to be a coronation for Favre and the Packers going in.

In the NFL Films version, you get to see Packer S Eugene Robinson screaming at his teammates on the sidelines "They're not even GOOD!".

So, do hubby a favor and score this old DVD for him even if you get someone else's copy of the game. The DVD is a definite keeper for any die-hard Bronco fan.

Let me add that most of the negativity you see reviewed about this DVD is that it is enveloped by a commercial for RCA. The DVD was made and sold as a promotional DVD to sell you on RCA DVD players for what was then (1999) cutting-edge technology.

It is, at its core, a highlight video not the game broadcast. However, the NFL later released this DVD set

http://www.amazon.com/NFL-Greatest-Games-Denver-Broncos/dp/B00186DF5C/ref=pd_sim_d_2

which has edited tv replays of the SB 32 and 33 games in greater detail along with the 1977 AFC Championship Game against the Raiders. Disappointing is that they do not also contain the AFC Championship Game victories of the 1980s, two of which are all-time classics in themselves.
