If there was a good time to let him play a good chunk in an actual game, this would be it.

Yes, because I started Orton in FF.

Isnt Orton still the best option? He is a top 5 QB this year.

Can it get any worse? Let the rookie play.

No, not after that last play. If the Broncos are going to get demolished, why not let Tebow play?

Might as well. Can't be any worse.

No, but I'm sure Tebow's thinking, "please don't put me in this shit."

Put Tebow in so he can be exposed as a fraud on the same day as McD! Maybe then we'll fire McD and trade Tebow, and either sign Orton long-term or draft a real QB.

I think if we lose this game and in London and start off 2-6, we might start Tebow after the bye maybe and get him started. Probably not though. But no, I don't want to see Tebow. I want to see the best comeback ever. Unlikely tho. Guess I'll keep dreaming but damn this is a disgrace.

I guess if you want to see a white flag, then you ask for TT. Oak's secondary is too good, and could take any/all confidence he might have.

Seriously, if we keep Orton in, he may get hurt, change it up a bit and see what happens at this point. Tebow has yet to throw the ball = cannot get worse than what Orton has done today.

Why in the hell down 45pts would you not get Tebow some game action? McDaniels would have never heard the end of this had Orton gotten hurt in a game he had no business still being in!

If Tebow goes in it could have been much worse. Whats worse than 59-14 at home? 73-14 at home.

Tebow goes in when we are mathmatically out of the playoffs. Which might only be a few more games.

Bring back Cutty so we can throw 4 int's with one fuble in the redzone

Lets bash players on other teams to make ourselves feel better about our own shitty team.

yeah.. lets go after Brees as well. He only threw 4 INTs today.. and two to the same player, both for TDs!!

No offense... but anyone who knows anything about the NFL would know that throwing an un prepared rookie into a flaming pit is ridiculous.

It could destroy his confidence and scar his developmental progress.

It would have been ludicris to throw him to the wolves behind a demoralized line and in such horrible conditions.

I expect he will be starting for the broncos soon enough...
probably after the bye.

Starting, getting experience... with a game plan designed for him...
with practiece on the first team under his belt... with a fair chance to succeed... learn.. and grow.

To simply throw him into the flames of hell today would have been unprofesional and shortsighted.

Funny, I don't think Tebow is your average rookie QB. I don't think his ego or confidence will be hurt as badly by being beaten on the field as it will by watching helplessly from the sidelines wishing he was doing something to prevent a rout. Last thing I remember about this guy is he's a competitor and plays his best in adverse situations.
