Eddie Royal was my favorite receiver at Virginia Tech. He is a heck of a guy. I've just been reading tons of articles of how big of an impact he could have. I'm so glad that he is being looked at more than just a punt/kick returner. Bronco fans will enjoy him a lot. Anyways, I just wanted to drop by and share this video that I made of him and what you can be expecting from him. There are other Eddie Royal videos out there but this one is the best (not being biased or cocky, haha). Please comment/rate it if you'd like.
Eddie is turning a big part of the Hokie Nation into Bronco fans. I've never been phased by the Broncos, but I am now.

WELL DONE, my good man! Welcome to the boards, you can post stuff like this anytime. You get a large "thanks for sharing" in my book. Would imagine you'll see a large number of high 5's on this one.
It's pretty obvious that this kid can hit the ground running, and one of the few that may not be surprised by the speed of the NFL, because he looks like he's there. Come back by anytime.

Awesome vid! That's the kind of stuff that gets me excited to see Royal this year. I'm never sure of someone until they get into a real game, but so far Royal sounds like the real deal, and he showed some good hands and some GREAT speed in that video. Can't wait to see what he does in the pre-season.

Welcome to the message board and thanks for the video. Great stuff. I really liked the fact that on quite a few of those returns he made moves to get free, it wasn't all just great blocking, it was him making the plays.
Looking forward to seeing him in the preseason games.

A couple little tidbits:
0:48 - YES That is Eddie throwing the ball, haha. Everybody always asks, was that Eddie that threw it?
2:40 - Watch the QB (Tyrod Taylor) the whole play. It is quite funny. But it's always good to see a QB blocking.
2:53 - His freshman year. He caught that clutch game-winning TD in the game that decided who was ACC Champions. Talk about clutch.
3:21 - Doesn't seem like much, but he caught that to put us up at the half against our rival, where the winner went on to the ACC Championship.
Last play - One of my favorite Hokie plays ever. The way he ran through all those defenders was amazing. We won that game, too. The main thing about the play was that he was a FRESHMAN.

Eddie is going up against two of the best cornerbacks in the NFL-Champ Bailey and Dre Bly. Eddie even said that the NFL games won't be much harder than that.

What I like about from what I see is that he seems to be a very heady player; he's patient enough to allow the blocks to develop, he adjusts to his quarterback's throws; he doesn't just rely on his physical gifts. I also like that he really fights and concentrates when catching the ball. He also doesn't dance around too much.
