Before Wednesday's practice, Ravens coach John Harbaugh had a lot of good things to say about Broncos quarterback Kyle Orton, who leads the NFL in passing and has been known to sport a pretty gnarly neckbeard. Unfortunately, Harbaugh did not address the neckbeard when chatting about Orton.

"He does a nice job of mixing it up, moving it around the field, hitting different guys. I think he recognizes coverage very well," Harbaugh said. "His arm strength looks good. He’s been throwing the deep outside-breaking comebacks really well. He’s been getting the ball downfield, been getting the ball out quickly, all the things good passing teams do."

Harbaugh was also asked about Denver's Champ Bailey, whom the Broncos might sic on Ravens wideout Anquan Boldin on Sunday. Harbaugh said that Bailey, 32, widely viewed as one of the league's top cover corners, is still playing at a "high level," adding that Bailey is continuing to improve.

"Champ Bailey has been good for so long, and you see him out there and it never changes. He’s playing at a high level again," Harbaugh said. "I see his technique has been even better than what it’s been before. Maybe it’s just that a guy like him continues to keep improving, and that’s what makes him so good."

Well what was he supposed to say. Something for locker room BB fodder.

Nothing we did not already KNOW.
