I do not understand someone leaving early for any reason less than it was a wind chill of -25 ans snowing to the pint you can't see the field.

Getting on the road before they close it might be a valid excuse.

I hate fair weather fans, there should be a law.

Are you kidding me? We are up 31-7, we are dominating and people leave? The home opener and people leave?

Turn in your fan cards immediately.

:yardog: That is terrible. I want Mile High back.

Thanks for posting the pics, Dog! Hope you had a fantastic time watching the SeaChickens take their ass kicking. :D

Fan cards hell!! make them turn in the Season tickets for someone that wants to be a fan.

I always go back to the MNF game vs. Green Bay I went to a couple years back (where the announcers were having a love affair with Favre's wife.) We had club level seats and I absolutely could not believe the number of people watching the game from the Club Level bar. I mean really, go over to your local watering hole and drink up. Most just see it as a social status thing. It's sad really.

My dad goes on and on about when he was young, they would pay their $7 and have 3rd or 4th row seats in the South Stands, the visitors fans were always stuck in one section in the upper deck and they forced people to leave AFTER the game was over.

There was a comment today on the 9news article about the game- someone said that cheering too loud should be banned because they couldn't read their ebook on their kindle! They had to leave and drive to a starbucks for some peace and quiet.

There's not enough :tsk:'s in the world for a person like that!!!

When are they going to ban shouting and yelling at the Broncos Games? Being there just as the "Designated Driver" I found the shouting and yelling to be a frustrating obstacle when trying to read a eBook on my Kindle. Can't people just cheer quietly anymore? I had to leave early and drive all the way to Starbucks just for some peace & quiet.

I just want to e-slap that loon over the head with her kindle, then send her to Starbucks in her designated Prius. Tell your friend to ride the freaking light rail and save the real fans the frustration of having to reading that bullshit.

I love being at the game with that type of person, I get louder and more disruptive just to get them to leave earlier! :D

The preseason game I went to with the lady at work, when we left she was laughing and telling me that I was rowdy. I was like...Yep, you probably do not want to invite me to a game again. I curse up a storm, I don't put up with idiot's bullshit. My dad got a kick out of me the other night, we were at a high school game and my kid screwed the pooch on a kick return, so I was yelling at him like there was no tomorrow. This other mom told me I shouldn't yell at him. I looked back at her and said...yea, and if I didn't he'd be just like your sissy mary lala who sits on the sideline all game because running a lap is too hard for him. I am rowdy and usually I am blunt. Whatevs.

IIRC my season ticket were like 140 each for the south stands and those were the cheapest ones.

If anyone got up to leave before the game was over they were verbally beat up and it never happened again. But then if they left early, they could not harass the other team as they went to the locker room. that was part of the fun of sitting in the south stands.

When I moved to SYR NY, I remember getting my renewal for my UPPER Deck seats (moved there when there were built) it totaled about the same as the new curtains my wife wanted.

Since I thought at the time I was unlikely to ever be transferred back to DEN, I let them go I kick myself in the ass every morning for that as my priority number at the time was around a thousand.

Last game I went to, I was sitting next to a Steelers fan from WY. He only came as the driver too. He was totally shocked at my enthusiastic bloodthirstiness. I was all, well girls like football too you know. :whip:

The TV shown the tempature gauge and it was over 100 a couple of times, I'm sure I heard the commentators say it reached 120 at one point (could be wrong though)

I agree I hate it.

It happens everywhere though unfortunately. Without wanting to go off topic or to rub it in Sharkies nose (again :elefant:). Yesterday United played Liverpool at Old Trafford, for those unaware of the rivally I would say it is the English equivalent of Broncos v Raiders. Anyway United go 2-0 up, the ground is buzzing, Liverpool then somehow fluke 2 goals in 7 minutes to make it 2-2. United then go up 3-2 with 6 minutes to go and what follows is 6+ of pure agony and tenseness waiting for the final whistle to go, yet people were leaving the ground in droves as they do every game just so they get a headstart on the traffic.

If you cant be arsed staying to the game finishes (even if it is a blowout) then why waste your money? I'll give you the answer, so they can tell their friends that they went to the game. They aren't proper fans if they can't be bothered staying to clap the team off (win or lose) in my opinion.

I admit before I stopped going OT every game, I got very close to actual fights about this particular bug bear of mine on several occasions.
